Electronics/Maintenance Supervisor & Instructor

  • Prioritized, assigned and supervised tasks and ensured that proper tools, test equipment and spare parts were carried for each assignment consisting of preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Delivered Naval Electronics Technician formal and on-the-job training courses in Fire Control Radars, Radars, Passive Sensor Receivers, Continuous RF Emitters, Command and Control Systems and troubleshooting electronics components and effectuating repairs.
  • Handled most of the Technical Writing and correspondence for my Sections.
  • Responsible for evaluating subordinates and writing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly assessments.

Electronics Training/Experience

  • Responsible for maintaining such equipment as Fire Control Radars, Radars, Passive Sensor Receivers, Continuous RF Emitters and Command and Control Systems equipment.
  • Proficient in the use of Multimeters, Frequency Counters, Oscilloscopes (analog or digital), Spectrum Analyzers, Pulse Generators, Logic Analyzers and Signal Generators.

IT/Technical

  • Attended the Small Systems Support Specialist Course (Militarized A+ Course).
  • Provided Technical Support in repairing hardware, troubleshooting software, hardware and compatibility issues over the phone, through email or in person and liaised with 2nd and 3rd line maintenance agencies.
  • Responsible for IT assets in acquiring, assigning, disposing, exchanging, installing, storing and tracking hardware and software.
  • Developed Standard Operating Procedures for updating various applications.
  • Contributed significantly to the Forces-wide upgrade to the Windows2000® Operating System.
  • Programmed websites (PHP, Java & JavaScript) for web design business. Built all pages to enable a maintenance-free website entirely PHP-driven for a club of 350 members.
